Meet the Team
The Pink Lady Plumbing team are driven by Clare and are a real family business. Clare, Julie and Katie are sisters, Paul is Clare’s husband and Chelsea is Clare’s daughter. Quality work and customer satisfaction is Clare’s main goal for the business but she also knows that work/ life balance, time spent with family and health and fitness are key to making sure that everyone involved is committed to her vision.

Clare Gilling
Clare started the company 20 years ago. She is a champion for ‘Women in the workplace’ and has taken part in several interviews discussing the importance of encouraging young women to enter what is traditionally a male industry.
Her spare time is spent with her family. She has two beautiful daughters and they all love a shopping day together. She adores her three grandchildren and loves taking them to the park or for a walk in the woods. Clare also enjoys going to the gym and playing golf.
Clare was a gymnast, who competed at regional level when she was younger.
Chelsea Whitestone
Chelsea has worked with Clare for 10 years and has been fully qualified for 5. They get on so well together, which is great, as they are mother and daughter!
Chelsea is currently on maternity leave after just having given birth to her third, precious and beautiful baby. Obviously outside of work, spending time with the kids is her first love, but Chelsea also enjoys running and shopping.
Chelsea loves being anywhere with a bit of sun and her favourite food is roast dinner.
Katie Swan
Katie has been qualified for 12 years and before she joined forces with Pink Lady Heating & Plumbing, she ran her own successful plumbing business.
Katie is hooked on running and has taken part in numerous 5k, 10k and half marathon events. She has completed over 300 Park Runs and is often the fastest female finisher in her age category with a personal best time of 22 mins 40 secs.
Katie loves spending time with her twin boys, who are in their GCSE year at school.
Katie loves football and avidly supports Watford FC. She also plays as a winger for local football team, Kingsthorpe Jets Ladies.
Courtney Radford
Courtney is studying with Sterling Training and Assessment Services to complete her Gas Certificate and will be fully qualified by November. She enjoys hands on tasks and has always been creative. Plumbing allows her to pursue a career utilising these skills.
Outside of work, Courtney loves thrill seeking adventures and activities. She also has a passion for travelling to new places and especially enjoys trying new cuisines. Her favourite colour is turquoise, but she doesn’t mind swapping it for pink whilst working!
Julie Lee
Julie has only just joined the company and is excited about the prospect of learning new skills within the admin/ office side of the business.
Julie was a teacher for 25 years, specialising in working with young people with Special Educational Needs, which she loved.
Julie enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her family. She has three children with an age gap, between eldest and youngest of 18 years.
Julie and her class of SEN pupils once held the Guinness World Record for ‘Tallest Stack of Hats’ at 104cm.
Paul Gilling
Paul has been in the business for 40 years and until joining forces with Clare, had his own successful heating engineering business.
Paul would much rather be on the golf course, than on the tools and he also loves spending time with his daughter and going for long walks in the woods, with Clare and his beloved Cocker Spaniel Ollie.
Paul and Clare married in Portugal in 2024 and Portugal is definitely his favourite place to be, whether it’s for golf, or some much needed rest and relaxation with Clare.
